Dancing In My Kitchen - Makes Everything Better
Haven't danced much lately. Haven't done much of anything exercise-wise except walk my dog. So today I did a 15 minute Legs Up the Wall yoga stretch/meditation and then danced around my kitchen and living room for 15 minutes.
Legs Up the Wall reduced my stress and the dancing improved my mood by 20%. Works every time. It's silly of me not to do this every day. It changes everything for the better.

I'll put on my dancing shoes when I make breakfast! (Or maybe I'll kick them off.)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for an easy workout.
Definitely kick those shoes off!
ReplyDeleteThis is so great Cynthia. I remember our conversation when we first met at the conference about how you did your own research on how to feel better and happier. It included this as I recall- taking every opportunity to kick those shoes off and kick some serious butt. Fun, fun fun! Virginia- FirstClassWoman
ReplyDeleteI've been lax in my exercise, and my belly fat knows it. I purchased the new Jane Fonda DVD and was embarrassed I couldn't keep up with Jane! Sometimes I put on Latin music and dance around the room for the length of the song. Good cardio and it makes me smile. I also love my gentle yoga class. It doesn't sound like it, but it does work on the core and, although I'm tired for the day, I feel good, stretched and balanced. Great short post!!!
